Based on an original sofa designed by architect Jørn Utzon for his family home and created in collaboration with the Utzon family, this outdoor furniture collection communicates a deliberate design language through clear shapes, timeless materiality and architecturally inspired details. A smaller format interpretation of the dining table – with a fine-sanded, solid natural teak base – the dining bench combines a bullnose profile, butterflied legs and deliberately visible stainless-steel fittings to create a sense of timelessness and floating ease.

Having grown up within one of the most prolific design families in the world, Mika Utzon Popov’s passion for artistic expression is underpinned by a multigenerational understanding of the creative experience. The multidisciplinary artist – son of visual artist Lin Utzon and grandson of Sydney Opera House creator Jørn Utzon – works in dialogue with spaces to create site-specific installations, designs and drawings in Australia and around the world.
