Utzon(s)
Based on an original sofa designed by architect Jørn Utzon for his family home and created in collaboration with the Utzon family, this outdoor furniture collection communicates a deliberate design language through clear shapes, timeless materiality and architecturally inspired details. This oversized outdoor sofa is the nearest interpretation of Jørn’s original design, with a horizontal rear rail and offset plank size. The fine-sanded, solid, natural teak base enjoys soft bullnose edges and trussed legs, with full-bodied cushions. The generously proportioned lounge chair is a compact version of the sofa and encompasses all the design details. Shown here in Hopsack Kgari fabric.

Utzon(s) Collaboration
Having grown up within one of the most prolific design families in the world, Mika Utzon Popov’s passion for artistic expression is underpinned by a multigenerational understanding of the creative experience. The multidisciplinary artist – son of visual artist Lin Utzon and grandson of Sydney Opera House creator Jørn Utzon – works in dialogue with spaces to create site-specific installations, designs and drawings in Australia and around the world.
