Outdoor Lifestyle Good Morning Granola
Good Morning Granola Recipe
Looking for a delightful breakfast idea idea to kick start your healthy outdoor lifestyle? Check out our good morning granola, it’s easy, healthy and rather tasty.
You’ll need:
- 2 cups unstabilised rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chopped dried apricots
- 1/4 cup dried coconut flakes
- 1/4 cup pepita seeds
- 1/2 cup sultanas
- 1/2 cup roughly chopped pecans (or other raw nuts of your choice)
- 2 tbsp raw organic honey
- 2 tbs coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Now do this:
Heat an oven to 150C (fan forced). In a large bowl mix together all the ingredients with your hands. Make sure the coconut oil and honey evenly coat all the ingredients.
Line a baking tray with baking paper, evenly spread the granola mix in a thin layer on the tray and bake for 10mins until very lightly toasted. You can bake for a few minutes longer if you like your granola extra toasty.
Serve with natural yoghurt and some fresh blueberries. Delicious.
