In summer this courtyard is ideal as it is shaded by the buildings and towering trees. The bright orange blends beautifully with the mottled greys and rusts of the Lichen split stone and creates a feeling of warmth and vibrancy in the courtyard for the cooler months of the year.

This also inspired the plant selections with orange and red flowers creating the dominant theme.This space by Secret Gardens was the winner of the “2008 AILDM Residential Design Award” and since then the plantings have matured creating maximum visual impact against the bright orange wall.
